Save Your Money for Tuition

Save Your Money for Tuition & Rent Your TextbooksThere’s no doubt that affording tuition for college is hard on parents & students alike.   College tuition prices are rising every year, while most families purse strings are getting tighter.  Once you’ve  paid the tuition, then comes the WHACK across the face when you see how much text books are.

If you’re expecting your textbooks to be some nominal fee, then think again.  The average college textbook is over $100 and you need new books each semester!  Yeah…Major Ouchies to the wallet.

Here’s my one word tip for saving on textbooks.  CHEGG

Instead of buying brand new textbooks, save hundreds of dollars by renting them at Chegg.  Then snag yourself a Chegg coupon and save even more money.  I’ve seen coupons for up to 15%.

College is a time for self discovery, and the first thing I discovered about myself is that I love paying as little as possible for my textbooks.
